A family business, Unit Steam was founded in 1970 by Bob Woollard as an installation and maintenance firm for dry cleaning equipment. Offering a superb level of service with a friendly yet professional attitude, the company soon grew and our reputation for a personal dedication to quality spread.

Using our years of experience in installing dry cleaning equipment, Unit Steam soon expanded our range of services to supply quality equipment for dry cleaning, steam pressing and laundry, establishing trade relationships with several major manufacturers. This includes an exclusive UK agreement with Hoffman / New Yorker - we are the only supplier of their vast range of pressing equipment in the UK.

More than 30 years on from our modest beginnings and now in the capable hands of our founder's son, Leonard, we are a well established company with a nationwide operation, and we still thrive on the same values of quality products and personal service that our customers appreciate.
